OSCE evaluates the "parliamentary elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh

llegal "parliamentary elections" were held by the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh. Many international organizations, including the European Council, have not recognized the elections. Trend reports the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group: "So-called parliamentary elections taking place in Karabakh do not mean that the status of the republic is already defined in the context of a peaceful solution to the conflict".

The sides understand that in this way the authorities of the unrecognized republic are trying to organize public life, though the republic is not recognized by any of the OSCE countries, including Armenia.

A protest letter was sent by Azerbaijan. Its position is that the conflict can be resolved only in terms of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
