The Black Sea Fleet received a third operational and tactical coastal
missile complex Bastion-P at the end of 2010, RIA Novosti reports,
referring to its source in the military-industrial complex of Russia.
The first complexes were installed in the Black Sea Fleet at the
beginning of 2010.
The development of new Bastion complexes began in the 1980s and were
meant to replace the Redut complex. The basis of the complex is a
series of supersonic cruise missiles 3M55 Onyx / Yakhont with a range
of up to 300 kilometres.
The Bastion-P complex consists of four mobile launchers and a machine control.
