About 200 students from the 9-11 grades took part in the Inter-Regional competitions for schoolchildren conducted by the State University - Higher School of Economics (HSE).
The qualification stage will last until January 30 in four areas: mathematics, social science, law and economics, News-Armenia reports.
The winners of this stage - 60 students, will become members of the second and final phase of the competitions which will be held from March 13-15.
The HSE organizes similar competition in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
