Iran has announced that its first cyber-police unit has started
operating, Euronews reports.
The authorities say that its main goal is fighting off hacking,
especially cyber attacks on its nuclear program, and control over the
information space.
The opposition has expressed concern over the issue. The Internet is
almost the only way to express disagreement with the official point of
view.
