According to the latest information, the terrorist attack at Domodedovo airport in Moscow killed 31 people, while 130 people were injured, the Assistant to the Minister for Health and Social Development, Sofia Malyavina, has informed media, News 24 reports.
Airport employees dismantled brickwork to evacuate passengers from the baggage claim area.
It is still difficult to calculate the exact number of victims because of the strong fumes.
The explosion was caused by a bomb with a power of up to 5 kg of TNT. Three men are being searched for on suspicion of involvement in the preparation of the terrorist attack, Interfax reports.
The last plane to arrive to the airport before the explosion was an aircraft from London at 16:35. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the explosion occurred at 16:37 MSK. Shortly before the explosion the airport accepted a flight from Dusseldorf at 15:52 and from Odessa at 16:07.
