Georgian village no longer threatened by flood

The Velistsikhe village(inhabited by 700 families) in the eastern Georgia is no longer threatened by flooding, the state of emergency has been cancelled. According to Rosbalt, experts, including sappers, managed to  reduce the water level  in the Cheremisov lake artificially.


It will be recalled that the four-day rains caused threat of the dam burst.
