The head of the administration of the Chegem region in Kabardino-Balkaria, Michael Mambetov, has been killed, a representative of the Investigation Department in Kabardino-Balkaria informed Interfax.
According to him, at about 20:00 Moscow time a group of unidentified armed assailants attacked the house of Michael Mambetov. As a result of this attack Mambetov was injured and taken to a local hospital, where he died.
