Armenia and Belarus may hold next CIS educational conference

Armenia and Belarus propose hosting the second conference of CIS
teachers and education workers, Kazakh Minister of Education and
Science Zhanseit Tuymebayev said, VK reports.


The minister also noted that Kazakhstan had begun creating new
schoolbooks, which will meet international standards for the 12 year
education program.


According to Tuymebayev, participants of the conference adopted a
resolution. They will create single center for monitoring the quality
of education in CIS countries and open a single education portal with
electronic schoolbooks for CIS countries.


The first conference took place 26-27 April in Astana, and over 500
workers from the education spheres from Azerbaijan, Belarus,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan participated.
