A blast at Ankara's Ostim industrial center on Thursday killed four
people and injured 27. Four are in a grave condition, RIA Novosti
cites the Turkish Minister of the Interior Besir Atalay as saying.
Earlier reports said 3 were killed and over 30 injured.
The explosion happened at the generator-making company at the Meg
Center, caused by gas leakage.
Ankara Mayor Melih Gokcek said in an earlier interview with CNN-Turk
channel that the problem was caused by improper handling of gas and
oxygen containers by staff.
Two floors of the four-storey building were destroyed. Windows in
nearby building were shattered.
NTV says that at least 5 people are still under the rubble.
