Religious leader of Iran calls for revolution in Arab countries

The religious leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, urged Arabs to start
revolutions inspired by the unrest in Egypt and Tunisia, Trend
reports.


Khamenei called the Muslim authorities "traitors connected with the
USA and the West". He emphasized the importance of Muslim power in
Arabic countries.


The religious leader blamed the Egyptian president for the poverty in
his country. The ayatollah called Hosni Mubarak "Namubarak", meaning
"un-blessed". He expressed hope the Egyptian people will overthrow the
authorities. Iran and Egypt have had no diplomatic relations for 32
years.
