The directorate of Russia's railway stations has offered to equip some
railway stations in the country, including Moscow railway stations,
with metal detectors, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in the
advisory council to the Moscow City Council Safety Department.
At a meeting on Friday the Council discussed additional security
measures and anti-terrorist protection of parts of the city and places
of mass gathering of people, in connection with the attack at
Domodedovo international airport on the 24th of January, which killed
36 people.
