As a result of a landslide in the highlands of Ajaria (in western
Georgia) one person has been injured, several buildings destroyed and
the district centers of Keda and Shuahenvi have been cut off from the
rest of the world, Georgian television reports.
Severe weather conditions in Western Georgia were caused by heavy
precipitation in the form of snow and rain, which led to the
landslide. The disaster blocked highways and destroyed ten houses.
In the village of Maglaki (in western Georgia) the river flooded as a
result of torrential rains, News Georgia reports.
