Dagestani Emergency Situations Ministry warns of avalanches

The Dagestani Ministry of Emergency Situations is warning of the danger of avalanches in three regions of the republic, Yuga.ru reports.

The depth of snow at the observation point in the Tsuntinsky district is 85 cm, 40 cm in the Bezhtinsky district and 38 cm in the Tlyaratinsky district.

According to forecasters, in these and other mountainous regions of the country, snow is expected these days, and thereby an increase in the accumulation of snow on the mountain ridges of the Caucasus Mountains, which will lead to emergencies, information agency Dagestan reports.
