Bad weather conditions in Georgia are causing traffic limitations,
Trend cites the road department of the Georgian Ministry of Economy as
saying.
The Kobi-Gudauri road section is closed. Traffic is restricted for
vehicles without anti-skid devices on Rikotsky mountain pass,
Khashuri-Zestafoni section and Nakerala.
Several roads at Akhalkalaki District were closed. An emergency center
is operating. Special equipment was mobilized at Kofelia village.
Snow has reached 4 meters at Khuloysky District of Adzharia.
Some villages were left without electricity. Heavy snow continues
breaking power lines. Snow cleaning is held parallel with repair works
of power lines.
