Tear gas against demonstrators in Tehran

According to eyewitnesses, the police in Tehran have used tear gas

against demonstrators on the streets of the Iranian capital, Reuters reports.

As reported earlier by VK, hundreds of Iranians have been
participating in street rallies in Tehran today, in solidarity with
the Egyptian revolution. The demonstrators tried to block the police
and security forces.

The leaders of the Iranian opposition, Mirhosseyn Mousavi and Mehdi
Karroubi, urged their supporters to unite in the streets of Iran on
Monday in support of the mass protests in the Arab world.
