Two police officers died and 27 were injured in a terrorist attack in
the village of Gurben in Dagestan’s Karabudakhkent District. Three of
the injured are in grave condition. The bomb was activated by a
suicide bomber, ITAR-TASS reports.
The first blast was caused by a female suicide bomber at the entrance
to the village at 19.30 (Moscow time) on Monday. Another bomb was
activated at the village police station at 22.40 (Moscow time).
A criminal case was initiated into an infringement on the life of
police officers, illegal trafficking of explosives and illegal bomb
production. It may be reorganized into a terrorist case.
