Georgian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Shashkin is on a
visit to UK, where he met the President of Trinity College, Oxford,
Sir Ivor Roberts and his wife Elizabeth, the dean of the college and
supervisor of the Weidenfeld Scholarship.
The Georgian Ministry of Education and Science told Trend that the
sides discussed student exchange programs and scholarships.
Trinity College is ready to receive Georgian students and send its
professors for master classes to Georgia.
The minister formed a cooperation deal with the university.
Trinity College is one of the 35 colleges of Oxford. It was founded by
Thomas Pope in 1555.
