Turkey has evacuated all of its citizens from Libya that have requested it. This includes 17,734 Turkish citizens and 577 foreigners, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
He added that no Turkish citizens are left at Tripoli airport of and the port of Benghazi. Turkey is ready to provide Libya with humanitarian aid.
Libyan citizens have been protesting against Muammar al-Gaddafi, who has been in power for 42 years, since February 15. International organizations say that law-enforcers and foreign mercenaries have killed up to 2,000 people and injured approximately 4,000. Foreign states are evacuating their citizens.
