An earthquake with a magnitude of 3-4 points on Richter scale happened 17 km to the south-west of Gabalin District, Trend cites the seismology service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
The earthquake was registered at 10.54 am (local time).
There was no damage and injuries, the executive authorities of Gabalin District said.
