The founding of the main Olympic village has been postponed, Yuga.ru reports.
The village was to be founded at the Imereti Lowlands on March 16. The event was postponed to March 22-24, 2011, due to urgent changes of schedule of officials. The exact date will be announced next week.
Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Yuri Relyan, President of the Organization Committee Sochi-2014 Dmitry Chernyshenko, President of the state-owned corporation Olimpstroy Sergey Gaplikov, Sochi Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov, officials from banks and investment communities, public and business spheres will be at the ceremony.
