Three unidentified assailants were killed in Dagestan on Tuesday during a shootout with police officers. No police officers were injured, RIA Novosti cites the police of Makhachkala as saying.
The shootout started on the Krasnoarmeysk-Shamkhal road at 03.00 (Moscow time) when the police stopped a vehicle for inspection. Fire was opened from the vehicle. The assailants were killed and the vehicle started burning. A pistol and a submachine gun were found.
