Yesterday the head of Kabardino-Balkaria Arsen Kanokov and Muslim leaders founded Islam Educational Centre, which is planned to be built in Nalchik, Yuga.ru reports.
The centre will include the jameh mosque and modern university complex with all the necessary facilities: campuses, conference halls and libraries.
100 million rubles will be contributed by the Fund of Islam culture science and education development. Another part of financing will be provided by the authorities of Kabardino-Balkaria. It is to be built in 2012.
