Dagestan elects education leader

The Dagestani Institute for Advanced Pedagogical Training is holding a contest for an educational leader in 2011. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Natella Musalayeva and the head of the institute, Idris Musayev, took part in the opening of the contest.
Musalayeva said that the contest is being held in Dagestan for the first time, unlike other parts of Russia. Experience of the contest participants will be included in the advanced training courses.
The winner of the Dagestani contest will take part in the All-Russian “Leader of Education” contest at the start of the academic year.
21 requests to take part in the contest were registered. 4 were declined. 17 participants will make speeches and a winner will be chosen.

The contest is aimed at finding and studying new practices of managing education and the development of professional and creative activities of managing staff at education facilities.


The contest was organized by the Dagestani Institute of Advanced Pedagogical Training and the Russian trade union of education staff.
