An accident at a section of the Edis-Tskhinvali water pipeline in Transkam in South Ossetia resulted in Tskhinvali has left locals without water since March 25, RES reports.
A landslide near Liakhva River broke the pipeline at Dzausky District.
Director General of the Energoresurs-South Ossetia state unitary enterprise Alan Gabarayev said that the road to the pipe has been cleared and all the necessary materials delivered. Repair works started on March 28. Water supplies are planned to be restored by this evening.
