The Chechen Ministry of Transport and Communication will purchase 1500 foreign vehicles to update the taxi park, Minister Ramzan Cherkhigov said, RIA Novosti reports.
The minister said that the State Unitary Enterprise “Chechen Transport Company” is part of the republic’s program on development of Chechen transport.
They chose the Skoda Octavia model as the most suitable in terms of comfort. It has seat and glass heating, spacious interior and trunk and is reliable.
The first portion of vehicles has already arrived in Grozny. The rest will arrive according to schedule.
