Armenia to spend $26 thousand on festive fireworks

The Armenian government will allocate 10,262 drams for the 65th anniversary Victory Day celebrations. These funds will be spent particularly on the festive concerts and fireworks. The celebrations will take place in all the regional centers of Armenia, reports Panorama.
The Yerevan city administration has already held several events. Exhibitions devoted to WW II and Victory Day have been ongoing since March. Even more festive events are planned to honor veterans of WW II. World War II veterans will be granted the right to free use of public transport vehicles under the governmental order. Moreover, the Armenian government will compensate frozen deposits held in the State Bank of the ASSR for more than 3500 veterans. Nowadays there are about 7500 WW II veterans in Armenia.
