The TV tower in Vladikavkaz which suffered damages on one of its pillars after a heavy snowfall is not facing a collapse, Interfax reports the experts, as saying.
The head of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network Andrey Romanchenko told the media representatives that employees of the tower will be able to return to their jobs in the near future.
The TV tower "Alania" tilted under the weight of snow which resulted in redistribution of load on the fastening ropes. The local Broadcast TV has been temporarily suspended, and the employees of "Alania" were evacuated from the building.
