Vladikavkaz will start reconstruction of the TV tower belonging to Alania state TV and radio company on April 20, Yuga.ru reports.
The TV tower bent on April 13 as a result of heavy snow. Broadcasting of local channels was stopped.
Reconstruction will be held by Radiostroi, which will arrive in North Ossetia from Ulan Ude. The director general of the company, Alexey Pavlinov, is already in Vladikavkaz, from where he will supervise the work. He made assurances that the quality of channels will not be affected.
Andrey Romanchenko, head of the Russian Television Television and Radio Broadcasting Network, said that the “situation is not fatal or dangerous” for local inhabitants.
