There have been long talks on establishment of a dialogue platform for Russian-Azerbaijani experts, Alexey Vlasov, deputy dean of the history section of the Moscow State University, Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza and member of the Trend Expert Council, said in an interview.
The statement was made commenting on the report entitled “Russian-Azerbaijani relations on the modern stage: problems and prospects”.
Vlasov said that it has already been determined that Russian and Azerbaijani experts are willing to cooperate. The cooperation includes in the socio-cultural anmd economic spheres, security problems and Caspian projects.
The report defines solutions for each problem, based on common positions and differences.
The Russian report was prepared by Alexey Vlasov, Ismail Agakishiyev, Alexander Karayev and Alexander Revsky. Azerbaijani experts, including experts from Trend, are invited to join.
The report highlights topics requiring solutions, such as the economy, trade, diaspora cooperation and the socio-cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Most of the solutions have been presented. It is a combination of the modernization potentials of the Russian and Azerbaijani expert pool.
Trend will host a round table on May 9, dedicated to the Great Victory, Sergey Karpov, dean of the history section of the Moscow State University, PhD in History, professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy o Sciences, member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, said.
The Russian side will meet veterans of the Great Patriotic War. 20 students will organize a historical reconstruction of a speech for veterans. They will perform wartime songs, wearing related uniforms, Karpov said.
Vlasov said that Trend formed a stable export field. He noted that Moscow State University, the Russian State University for the Humanities and Vestnik Kavkaza are an expert pool as well, oriented towards the latest approaches.
