A Turkish flag was burnt during recent demonstrations in Yerevan, organized in order to mark the anniversary of the genocide of Armenians in Turkey, Novosti Armenia reports.
The flag was burnt in the center of Yerevan in a demonstration that was organized by the Armenian nationalistic party Dashnaktsutyun and attended by its leader, the head of the parliamentary faction, Vaan Ovannisyan.
The anniversary of the genocide was commemorated by the President of the country, Serzh Sargsyan, who visited the genocide memorial, Armenia Today reports.
