Three Dagestani women were arrested for trying to sell a new-born baby. The special operation was conducted by the law-enforcement agencies of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Dagestan, Interfax cites the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Three women, all residents of Dagestani village of Hasavyurt, were trying to sell a new-born baby for 500 thousand rubles. They were arrested while receiving the money.
A criminal case has been started as a result of the incident, a spokesman for the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
