Unidentified assailants killed the leader of the Azerbaijani community of Nakhodka, Arif Shakhverdiyev, RIA Novosti cites a senior supervisor of the investigation section of the Investigation Committee in Primorsky Region, Avrora Rimskaya, as saying.
Shakhverdiyev was found in his café on Sunday. He had been stabbed to death. A criminal case was initiated into murder. The assailants may be sentenced to a maximum of 15 years imprisonment. The police have several theories about the murder.
