Emergency Situations Ministry in Krasnodar Territory warns against landslides in the foothills and mountainous areas in the Kyban region on Saturday, told RIA Novosti the news service of the department.
Since early 2011 the Krasnodar Territory has been experiencing landslides. Three landslides took place on the federal highway connecting Dzhubga and Sochi, on April 9 another landslide took place on the railway stretch between Lazarus and Chemitokvadzhe in the Central District of Sochi.In addition, a landslide damaged a pipeline on April 16 in the Tuapse District.
