Armenians will have a hotline for complaints against police officers, News Armenia cites a police website as saying.
The hotline numbers are (010) 55-00-89, (010) 52-24-83. Citizens may report illegal actions or anti-social behaviour of police officers and any information on refusal to accept reports from citizens. Anonymity is guaranteed.
The Armenian Ombudsman said in a report that 233 complaints out of 5221 registered in 2010 were against police officers.
