Murder of security guards in Vladikavkaz solved

The police have solved the murder of two security guards of South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity. One of the guards was the president's brother, RIA Novosti cites the Russian Investigation Committee.


The two guards, aged 30 and 31, were found dead in a night club at about 04.00 on May 20. Two Stechkin pistols, 16 rounds and two particles of 9mm bullets were found. Video from the monitoring camera was studied.


The Investigative Committee said that the guards had a conflict with an assailant. The assailant took their pistol and shot them. The police identified him as a 34-year old local. He gave himself up to the police.
