A temporary ban on members of the government, parliament and administrative staff of Kabardino-Balkaria from using their official cars, put forward by the head of the republic, came into force on Monday, the presidential press service of Kabardino-Balkaria told RIA Novosti.
In late April, at a meeting with the heads of city and district administrations, the head of the republic Arsen Kanokov proposed a temporary moratorium on the use of service cars for Nalchik's administrative officials and members of the government. Explaining the necessity of the measure, the President said that the officials should learn from their own experience about the problems of public transport in Nalchik.
