Governor of Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov said that he will
attend the Council of the Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the
Southern federal District (SFD) in Sochi, Yuga.ru reports.
Heads of Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan, Rostove and Volgograd
Regions, Adygeya and Kalmykia, officials from ministries, Prosecutor
general's Office and the Main Police Directorate of the SFD will be at
the session.
The main topics for discussion are education, healthcare and housing.
Tkachyov will make a report on healthcare and demography of Krasnodar
Territory. Medical achievements will be presented.
Krasnodar Territory spent over 40 billion rubles on healthcare,
reducing child death rate. The region has had population growth for
the first time in many years. Life expectancy increased by 4.5 years.
