Iranian military helicopter crashed on Monday near the town of Isfahan in the central part of the country, reports Xinhua news agency quoting the website of state broadcasting corporation IRIB.
Deputy Governor of the province of Isfahan on the Political and Security Affairs Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili reported that a helicopter Cobra 209 crashed in the vicinity of Isfahan at 10.30 local time. As a result of the crash the pilot and copilot died. According to the deputy governor, the accident was caused by the technical problems, reports RIA Novosti.
