Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don become top ten cities of Russia for prospects

Krasnodar is leading the list of top ten cities of Russia for
prospects, drawn up by the magazine Russky Reportyor, Yuga.ru reports.


The rating includes Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don,
Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Ufa and Perm.


The major industrial centers of the Urals and Siberia could have
affected the rating, with Krasnodar losing the top position. The main
benefits of Krasnodar are its natural and climatic characteristics and
investment-attractiveness.


German Vetrov, director of the "Municipal Economic Development"
directorate of the Institute of Urban Development Fund, said that the
success of the first investors led to more coming.


The Rostov regional capital comes 4th in the rating of cities of
Russia with prospects.


The city has high healthcare expenditure, a relatively low crime and
unemployment rates. The city has sufficient recreational facilities.


Rostov-on-Don also benefits from being the capital of the Southern
Federal District.
