The parliament of the Chechen Republic held a seminar on the role of
municipality in the implementation of federal educational standards.
Opening the meeting, the chairman of the Committee on Social Policy,
Aslambek Aydamirov, noted that the state educational standard of the
new generation will be compulsory for 1st grade pupils from September
1 this year, while for 10th grade students it will come into force in
2020.
The new standard provides for the development of the material and
technical basis of schools, the widespread use in the classroom of
information technologies and the formation of new approaches towards
teaching, as well as the development of additional courses in various
areas. This standard is already used for 200 thousand Russian pupils
of the Novosibirsk and Novgorod regions, the Far East, Udmurtia,
Adygea and Moscow.
