Yuri Krasnozhan, chief coach of the Lokomotiv, has been dismissed, as
was predicted by the Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza, Alexey
Vlasov. Olga Smorodskaya proposed dismissing the coach for the
mistakes he made during the Anzhi-Lokomotiv match. Smorodskaya
convinced the head of the Russian Railways Company, Yakunin, to
dismiss the coach.
The decision was condemned by the Makhachkala club. The senior coach
of Anzhi, Gadzhi Gadzhiyev, called the situation absurd and said that
if any other statement from Lokomotiv is addressed to Anzhi, measures
will be taken, RIA Novosti reports.
The head of the Russian Football Union, Sergey Fursenko, commented
that the club has the right to dismiss the coach. In any case, it is
the club’s owner who decides the coach’s fate.
