South Ossetia evacuates population due to flooding

Some of the residents of the Leningorsk region of South Ossetia have been evacuated because of flooding caused by heavy rains on Tuesday RIA Novosti, citing the head of the press service of the republic’s president and government, Vechyaslav Sedov.

According to the EMERCOM of South Ossetia, almost all the seeding in the region’s fields was destroyed.

Dozens of houses were flooded. Electricity and mobile networks failed.
