Armenian subway tickets will increase in price to about $0.27 on July
1, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan said today.
He explained that the Mayor’s Office cannot subsidize the current
price. The passenger traffic on the subway is 20 million people
annually. The ticket costs 160 drams. No other price changes are
expected in the near future.
