Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan quake-prone zones to undergo preventative inspection

According to the representative of the National Academy of Geodynamics and Earthquake Sciences of Azerbaijan, Fakhridin Gadirov, earthquake-prone sections of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline have been detected, and now preventative measures are being carried out, Business Georgia reports.

Gadirov states that a system of microquake and regional monitoring will be used along the pipeline.
