Stavropol is considered one of the least polluted cities of Russia,
according to emissions in 2010, Interfax reports.
The Russian Statistics Service studied 56 major cities and their pollution.
Stavropol produced 3,600 tons of industrial waste in 2010. Norilsk is
the most polluted city, with 2 million tons of emissions, a surplus of
550 times that of Stavropol.
