The youth cell of a Georgian right-wing opposition party demonstrated outside the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi today, expressing their discontent at the boosting of the Russian military presence in Abkhazia, News-Georgia reports.
Russia plans to expand its garrison from 1,500 to 3,500 servicemen till 2013.
According to the leaders of the rally, Russia is attempting to impose its culture and language upon the Abkhaz people and in the end integrate Abkhazia, and the growth of the military presence is another step towards that end.
