More than 2000 talented young people from several regions of the Russian North Caucasus and near abroad are going to take part in the Mashuk-2011 youth forum, RIA Novosti reports. The forum is scheduled for July 3 - July 19 and takes place in the valley of the Mashuk mountain in the vicinity of Pyatigorsk.
Youth delegations are arriving in Pyatigorsk today, the official opening ceremony will take place on Monday.
The forum will be attended by delegations from Stavropol Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, all the republics of the Russian North Caucasus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and possibly Georgia. All in all, the forum will be attended by 2,400 young people.
The forum will also be attended by prominent public figures of the region and the country, politicians, famous sportsmen and artists.
