Hotline opens for Il-76 crash in Afghanistan

Silk Way Airlines has opened a hotline for the Il-76 4L-AZ 55 crash in
Afghanistan. Information can be found using numbers (+99450) 2259460
and (+99412) 4374757 (inner number 4031), Trend reports.

The plane crashed on Tuesday-Wednesday night. It had 9 crew members on board.

Communication with the plane broke at 00.10 on July 6, not far from
the Bagram airport. A flash on the plane was registered 25 km from the
airport of Kabul at an altitude of 4km. It may have hit an object in
the air.

The plane was carrying 18 tons of cargo on Baku-Bagram route. It flew
from the Heydar Aliyev Airport.

The Azerbaijani Administration of Civil Aviation and Silk Way had been
formed a special commission to investigate the case, adviser of the
Silk Way Airlines head Adyl Gasymov said.
