Rescue divers are continuing to search for the dead in the shipwreck
of the Bulgaria cruise liner. At the moment the number of confirmed
victims of the disaster in the crash of the Bulgaria on the Volga
River amounts to 41, Interfax reports.
As reported previously by VK, on July 10 the double-decked river
cruiser Bulgaria sank near the village of Kama Syukeevo in the Ustye
region of Tatarstan. The ship was going from the town of Bolagr to
Kazan. According to various sources there were from 135 to 170 people
on board.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev declared tomorrow, July 12, a
national day of mourning for the victims of the tragedy.
