North Caucasus to fulfill own demands for energy by 2030

The North Caucasian Federal District plans to triple fuel and energy
supplies in 2030, covering up to 89% of demands, Russian Energy
Minister Sergey Shmatko said, RIA Novosti reports.


The district fulfills about 26% of its demands for energy. Achieving
the 89% indicator needs improvement of investment-attraction of the
region and socio-economic development.
